The Junior Football League of Central Illinois (JFLOCI) is the Midwest's preeminent youth sports league, offering Flag Football, Tackle Football, and Cheerleading. The JFLOCI is committed to ensuring a positive youth sports experience and advancing player safety by providing league-wide coaching education and teaching resources that benefit players, parents, and coaches.
The Farmington JFL was founded and joined the JFLOCI (Junior Football League of Central Illinois) in 2006. The founders were Casey Martin and Jeff Skaggs, with Jeff Skaggs directing the program from 2006-2012. Jeff recruited Tom Oldfield to take over as director in 2013 through the present. Since 2013 the Farmington JFL program has grown in so many ways. Mainly the organization has grown and stayed steady with the number of children involved in tackle football, flag football and the cheer program.
Over the years since 2013 we have added new practice and flag fields, built a new crowsnest, moved our scoreboard for easier reading and updated our concessions building. Every year we strive to improve our facility and program
as a whole.
Our main goal is keeping the kids having fun, learning skills on and off the field and returning every year. The coaches, committee and parents all play a vital role in the kid's lives year round including
the off season.
